Hunting Areas
Adam Clements Safari Trackers offers hunting in three distinct regions of Tanzania. These regions encompass a variety of habitat and offer hunting for a wide range of species. Your safari will be tailored to include hunting in the areas most suitable to your pre-selected priority species. The Trophy Fees listing gives a record of the animals found in each region.

Selous
A varied terrain of thick riverine bush, miombo woodland, and small grassy plains provide a home for a wealth of wildlife. Large rivers intersect these regions providing year round water. Buffalo are found in abundance, big crocodiles, hippo, and a variety of plains game are encountered. These concentrations of game ensure good numbers of lion and leopard. Beautiful large tusked elephant can also still be found in the midst of this unique wilderness area. In these areas, you will have average shots of around 100 yards.

Masailand
Adam Clements Safari Trackers, offers hunting in Northern Tanzania, commonly known as Masailand. We conduct our hunting from the two very best areas in all of Northern Tanzania. There are no other areas in Northern Tanzania that have the quality of lion and buffalo that we are able to consistently produce. The areas are so good due to the fact that they border the Tarangire National Park. We consistently shoot big manned lion and have around a 90% success rate. We also take every year very big buffalo in the 48” and 50” range as well. You can expect to shoot buffalo that are 40” and better in these areas on the average. Of course we do shoot some in the 38” and 39” range as well, but the average can be expected at 40”, with very good chance of a very big buffalo. These two blocks are very well known for the huge buffalo that occur here. Look in the record book under buffalo and you will see why these are the best buffalo hunting grounds in Africa. Expansive plains dotted with acacia thickets, large rocky outcrops, and rugged ravines make this a spectacular setting. Masailand is best known for the antelope species unique to East Africa. Lesser Kudu, Fringe-eared Oryx, Grant’s Gazelles are all found in this region. Also very well known for excellent manned lions and great leopards. In Masailand you can expect shots to be 100-200 yards on the average.  This is a great place to take your wife and/or family as well, as there are very few bugs, and they will also be able to enjoy the culture while they are there. It is not just a hunting safari in these areas, photographic and great culture will be experienced at the same time.  We also offer extended photographic trips or even just to have an extra photographic vehicle in camp for the family, for them to sight-see during the day while you hunt.  Located close to the Equator, Tanzania enjoys a comfortable climate where daytime temperatures are typically in the 80’s F and nighttime temperatures of around 60 F. Rains begin in late November.
